To pique profit and improve its operations, Stockholm-based Seamless Distribution AB has installed new management and updated its procedures, optimizing cash flow and revenue in efforts to reverse recent share devaluation.
Seamless shared that two professionals with extensive payments industry background will take the helm of two of its main branches, with four additional executives also joining the team.
James Connelley will now head the company’s SEQR division. SEQR has served as Sweden and Europe’s most widely used mobile wallet application for over a decade. Connelley will handle both B2C and B2B aspects within the department.
Lars Sandtorv will head Seamless’ MeaWallet, supporting mobile payments via NFC, Bluetooth LE and other applications with 200 employees in Asker, Norway. Both new executives will support CEO Tomas Jalling.
Additionally, Radoslaw Kozlowski will become head of delivery; Martin Larsson will lead treasury/IR; Martin Schedin will serve as CFO/HR; and Geir Norlund will be the company’s new CIO.
Noting that shareholders merit a return on their investment, Seamless officials acknowledged that share value fell substantially over the past 2.5 years and indicated that the firm’s basic strategy remains consistent throughout operational and personnel changes.
“The company possesses outstanding B2C and B2B mobile wallet and payment technologies,” Seamless said in a press release. “The company is also fortunate to have a considerable number of outstanding people, [who] will now be fully enabled to execute actions that focus on highest probability of success outcomes for our clients, shareholders and other key stakeholders.”
