Rush Street Gaming has named Wanda Torres its vice president of people and culture.
"We're very pleased to have Wanda join us and further our mission as a gaming employer of choice," Rush Street Gaming Chief Operations Officer Ron Baumann said.
Before coming to Rush Street Gaming, Torres was director of Global HR for QVC Inc., where she headed up development strategies and made improvements to management programs and employee integration. Torres was also senior regional HR leader at Amazon.com and was prior to that director of HR for Luxottica Group and regional HR manager for Office Depot.
Torres was a Marine for eight years. She attended Nichols College, where she earned her B.A. in psychology. She attended Cornell University for her advanced certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management.
Torres' post will be run out of Chicago, Rush Street Gaming's headquarters.
