The list is comprised of companies that give millennials -- individuals born from 1981 or later -- meaningful work, opportunities for development within their career, a positive employee experience, and excellent benefits. The rankings are based on the responses of over 398,000 employees across the U.S.
Ultimate is involved in a number of interest groups, including PrideUS and Women in Leadership, and is constantly involved in social acceptance and equality movements. The company also seeks to create an environment that focuses on the whole-picture health of employees, including mind and body supplements, such as onsite massage, meditation, acupuncture, yoga classes and more. Car washes are offered onsite, as well as a Starbucks location and a game room.
"These survey results show that level of care resonates with our people, and they ‘pay it forward’ through the innovative products and personalized service they consistently deliver to our customers," Ultimate's chief people officer Vivian Maza said.
The benefits offered by Ultimate include completely employer-paid health care premiums, 401(k) retirement plan and 40 percent dollar-for-dollar company match to employee contributions. New employees enjoy a flight to the company's headquarters in South Florida, as well as a two-day orientation and meet and greet and dinner with the CEO.
