John Melcher was recently appointed senior vice president and director of human resources at Beneficial Bank.
The Philadelphia-based bank has provided Delaware Valley customers with financial services and education for more than 160 years.

Melcher has more than three decades of financial services industry experience. He previously served as vice president of HR for AmerisourceBergen Corp. He has also held positions at TB Bank and Wachovia.
