Entertainment and convention venue management provider SMG seeks a human resources generalist at its H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas.
Located just northwest of Austin, duties of the full-time position include recruiting and interviewing potential employees, conducting new employee orientations, coordinating training, administering benefits programs, maintaining records, administering performance review and salary administration programs, conducting exit interviews, responding to questions about policies, procedures and programs, and advising on employee relations issues.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, at least two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience administering benefit programs; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of personnel administration practices and principles, as well as HR-related state and federal regulations.
Preferred qualifications include experience with ADP or HRIS software payroll systems.
