Tony Goland, chief human resources officer of Aon PLC, is the firm’s first chief innovation officer, leading its nascent New Ventures Group. He assumed the position on Nov. 1.
Tasked with promoting cross-company innovation, the New Ventures Group is comprised of Aon CEO Greg Case and others from the executive team: Chief Financial Officer Christa Davies; Bryon Ehrhart, global head of strategic growth and development; and John Bruno, Aon’s chief operations officer and CEO of data and analytic services.
Case said in a press release that Goland will oversee company efforts to foster “the rapid incubation and delivery of new sources of client value.”
The firm also has two co-presidents, Eric Anderson and Michael O’Connor, who report to Case, a move announced in May.
Based in London, Aon is a leading global professional services company with $10 billion of revenue (2017) and provides brokerage, risk and HR services, according to Hoovers.com. Mark Hofmann reported this story Thursday on a business-related website.
