Limeade issued the following announcement on July 31.
The best way to engage employees is by improving their well-being, according to research from the Limeade Institute, which recently named Dr. Laura Hamill as its Chief Science Officer.
For more than a decade, Limeade has explored the science of well-being and engagement — and how the two are closely connected — leading to pioneering innovations like the first-ever Limeade Well-Being Assessment.
“It’s the science that drives us forward and shapes the product strategy. Most recently we expanded the Limeade Engagement Platform because of the Institute’s research on employee inclusion. If people don’t feel included how can they love their work or their lives?” said Limeade CEO Henry Albrecht, who started the company in 2006 to improve well-being in the world. “Dr. Laura Hamill shapes the research strategy and has tremendous impact on our product, company, customers and employees. We’re thrilled to name her Chief Science Officer.”
The Limeade Institute conducts research, establishes market points of views and keeps a pulse on the latest employee well-being, engagement and inclusion research and trends. Under Dr. Hamill’s leadership, the team will continue to develop groundbreaking research, building on recent work:
