Mobileiron, Inc. issued the following announcement on July 10.
MobileIron (NASDAQ:MOBL), the secure foundation for modern work, announced that Scott Hill has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will report to CEO Simon Biddiscombe.

Scott Hill brings nearly 20 years of experience leading finance teams at global companies. Prior to MobileIron, Scott served as senior vice president of finance at Symantec, where he supported Symantec’s consumer business. He also held other senior finance leadership roles at Symantec, including global head of financial planning and analysis, regional finance executive for the Asia Pacific and Japan regions, product manager for cloud-based offerings, and several other strategic finance and operational transformation roles.
Prior to Symantec, Scott was an investment banker with J.P. Morgan, where he served clients in the technology sector. Scott started his career in the defense industry, with engineering roles at the U.S. Department of Defense and Digital Receiver Technology, a subsidiary of Boeing. He has a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Akron, a M.S. in electrical engineering from the George Washington University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
