Watts Water Technologies, a global manufacturer of plumbing, heating and water product lines, recently appointed Shashank Patel as the new chief financial officer.
“Shashank’s wealth of experience in manufacturing with a focus on balancing capital deployment, finance, operations, and strategic planning makes him a perfect fit for our growing organization," Robert J. Pagano Jr., Watt’s chief executive officer and president, said.
Patel, who will start on July 2, joins the company from Xylem Inc. where he last served as vice president of Finance for its Applied Water Systems, Dewatering and U.S. Commercial Team. He previously held several other leadership positions under Xylem, including serving as interim chief financial officer.
Patel also worked at Ernst & Young for eight years and obtained his CPA license in 1987. He has an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the University of London and holds a master’s degree from Claremont Graduate University.
Patel said he is “very much look forward to getting started and building upon the positive momentum at Watts.”
