Wells Fargo & Company has appointed David Galloreese to head its Human Resources department.
Galloreese was previously chief HR officer for Sam's Club and also the head of talent for Walmart Inc. Galloreese will begin at Wells Fargo on July 9 and be positioned in San Francisco.
He will serve as a member of Wells Fargo's management committee. He will also work with Wells Fargo's Chief Administrative Officer Hope Hardison to nurture talent, foster a diverse set of team members and continue to build a strong business.
“David’s experience leading HR for large, complex companies, coupled with his ability to lead through transformational change and his passion for leveraging technology to modernize operations, will serve the company well,” Hardison said.
Before being employed at Walmart, Galloreese worked at global software company, Medallia. During his tenure, the company's staff increased ten-fold in four years. He was also employed at the Nevada Region of Caesar's Entertainment as senior vice president of HR. Galloreese has also worked at MGM Resorts International and Macy's in administrative HR.
“David will help advance the company’s journey to rebuild trust and re-establish Wells Fargo for the future,” Hardison said. “Under his leadership, HR will play an important role in continuing to strengthen the company’s culture while delivering meaningful HR programs that enable our team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.”
