Walter Bogumil was recently named chief strategy officer of SeaWorld Entertainment Inc., the popular theme park and entertainment company.

“We are pleased that Walter is joining us as our Chief Strategy Officer," John T. Reilly, the company's interim chief executive officer, said. "He has extensive experience in setting effective strategic plans and a strong track record of driving substantial operating improvements. We look forward to the contributions he will make as we continue to focus on key growth opportunities.”

Bogumil has been serving as the interim chief executive officer of Affinity Gaming since April. He previously was the chief financial officer and treasurer of Affinity. Before Affinity, he worked in Penn National Gaming as vice president of financial analysis.

Bogumil received his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Central Florida and his master's degree in business administration from Rollins College.
