Tapping the talents of two long-term team members, North Carolina-based Tanger Factory Outlet Centers recently announced the promotion of Lisa Morrison to executive vice president and former Chief Financial Officer James Williams to executive vice president.
Now with Tanger Outlets for more than two decades, Morrison will maintain her responsibilities regarding leasing strategy for the company as she takes on the additional role of executive vice president.
Previously, Morrison worked for Taubman Co. and Trizec Properties as a leasing agent, as well as serving as a marketing coordinator for Mutual Service Corp. She graduated from Michigan State University, where she also obtained both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree.
Williams, a 25-year veteran at the company, will continue to oversee financial reporting and will supervise leaders in accounting, finance, investment and information systems. He has served as controller and chief accounting officer since coming on board the company.
Prior to joining Tanger Outlets, Williams was a financial reporting manager at Guilford Mills Inc. and worked at Arthur Andersen. Williams, a CPA, graduated from the University of North Carolina.
Headquartered in Greensboro, Tanger Outlets commands a portfolio of 44 stylish outlet shopping centers spanning 22 states nationwide as well as in Canada, attracting over 189 million shoppers yearly.
