CBRE Group, a Los Angeles-based Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company that provides commercial real estate services, welcomes Dara Bazzano as its new chief accounting officer.
In her new position, she will lead the company’s global finance operations and oversee all internal and external financial reporting.
“Dara brings strong technical skills, business savvy and leadership experience to her role at CBRE,” CBRE Chief Financial Officer Jim Groch said. “She is a great addition to CBRE’s Global Finance leadership team.”
Bazzano was the global controller and chief accounting officer at The Gap before joining CBRE in April. She also became a Partner at PwC and held numerous roles at KPMG for over 13 years.
She earned a bachelor's degree with an accounting concentration from California State University-Sacramento and is accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Arlin Gaffner, who served as interim chief accounting officer since November, will now focus on her role as CFO of the Americas.
