The ten tips include nailing down must-haves, identifying your options, getting more information, testing the market, narrowing the field, developing and issuing in the RFP, digging in to evaluate, trimming your vendor field, inviting yourself to finalist's organization and picking your new partner.
Businessolver suggests the first goal should be to determine what is needed for benefits administration and making a list of those priorities. Starting research on a large amount of benefits administration models should be the second step, according to Businessolver's infographic.
Businessolver then suggests talking with salespeople in the benefits-administration field to gain more information. After you have narrowed the field, it's then time to evaluate proposals andvisit those on your finalist lists to get a first-hand look at their operation.
"Once you've made your choice, you can move on to contracting and then start the on-boarding journey," the blog states.
