Paulette Alviti has been appointed as Mondelēz International's chief human resource officer (CHRO) and will assume her new post in June.
In her new role, Alviti, who joins Mondelēz after serving as CHRO for Foot Locker Inc., will lead the company's worldwide human resources, and will oversee team development and talent management. She will also be responsible for the company's capability building, organizational effectiveness, change management, and diversity and inclusion aspects.
“With more than 25 years of public company experience, Paulette is a passionate, talented and experienced HR executive who will lead our people agenda to new heights,” Mondelēz Chairman and CEO Dirk Van de Put said in a statement.
“Paulette will play a key role in reshaping our ways of working as we become a faster, more nimble and agile organization that puts consumers’ changing needs at the center of everything we do," he said.
Alviti has also served in several senior leadership positions for PepsiCo and The Pepsi Bottling Group. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and received her MBA from Pace University.

Mondelēz, a global snacking company, is a leader in biscuits, chocolate, gum, candy and powdered beverages with a reported $26 billion in net revenues last year.
