LendUp, a financial services firm that caters to the middle class, has hired Mike Lempner and Patricia Wooten as head of data and people operations business partner, respectively.
The two will be based in the Richmond, Virginia office.
Lempner has over 25 years of experience as a consultant at Fortune 500 companies, with a specialization in data building and analytic solutions. In addition, he is also an expert in data management and governance across multiple industries.
As the firm’s new head of data, Lempner will collaborate with business units to develop data strategies, solutions, processes, platforms, and tools to meet the company’s needs.
He is a graduate of the University of Richmond.
Wooten has more than a decade of HR experience under her belt. Prior to joining LendUp, she worked at Hospital Corp. of America as vice president of people.
Wooten also worked in several HR operations roles at Coventry Health Care and Pitney Bowes. She is a business management graduate from Southern Connecticut State University and is enrolled at the MBA program at Liberty University.
As the firm’s new people operations business partner, Wooten will provide HR guidance and support for the Richmond office, as well as design organization-wide processes and executive programs.
