The Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE), which is under the umbrella of The PURE Group of Insurance Companies, has named Katherine Richardson the company’s new chief human resources officer.
She will be part of the executive committee and will report directly to President and CEO Ross Buchmueller.
"I am confident that under her leadership and with the exceptional HR team we already have in place, our culture will continue to evolve and exhibit the same sense of purpose that inspires our employees to consistently seek ways to improve and deliver premium service to the PURE membership," Buchmueller said.
Richardson will be in charge of developing core people strategies for the company’s workplace culture. Her 25 years of experience in the insurance industry includes serving as senior vice president and global head of human resources at Allied World Assurance Co.
Before that, she held several HR roles at AIG. In 1993, she started her career in the insurance industry at Leader Insurance.
Richardson is a graduate of Texas A&M University and has received the Professional in Human Resources designation from the Society for Human Resources Management.
"I am excited to join PURE and work with a group of incredibly talented individuals who mirror the values I consider essential for developing an effective workplace," Richardson said.
