AltaPointe is currently looking for a full-time human resource (HR) benefits specialist who is willing to work from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
As a human resource benefits specialist, you will be responsible for handling all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 403(b) plan. You will also oversee the employee leave programs to include FMLA, workers compensation, military and personal leave of absence.
To qualify for this position, the ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or must be an SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
As part of your duties and responsibilities, you will plan and administer benefits program and policies. You will coordinate leaves under the FMLA or other applicable federal and state leave laws and company leave policies. You will administer random drug screening programs on a quarterly basis and will also administer the company's workers’ compensation Program.
