Chipotle Mexican Grill has appointed Marissa Andrada as the company’s new chief HR officer.
"Marissa is an exceptional human resources executive and a valuable addition to our management team," CEO Brian Niccol said. "With near-term priorities that include building the right structure and capabilities for sustained growth, and creating a culture of recognition and innovation throughout our company, Marissa's expertise and leadership will be essential as we look to strengthen those key areas."
Prior to joining Chipotle, Andrada served as senior vice president of human resources and chief human resources officer at Kate Spade & Co. There, she led the company into developing and implementing plans for its overall growth, including recruiting top-tier executive and designing top talent.
She previously worked in several senior-level HR positions at Starbuck's, and held similar positions at Gamestop, Red Bull North America, Universal Studios, and Pepsico/Pizza Hut.
Andrada has a bachelor's of business administration from California Polytechnic in Pomona and a master’s in business administration from Pepperdine.
