Flowserve Corp. has appointed Elizabeth Burger as its senior vice president and chief human resources officer.

“I am extremely excited about Elizabeth creating a people-focused strategy that leverages the global expertise of our 17,000 employees,” Flowserve President and CEO Scott Rowe said.

Burger joins the flow control products and services provider for international infrastructure markets after working in leadership positions for HanesBrand, where she managed roughly 70,000 worldwide employees as senior vice president and chief human resources officer from 2013-17. She has also been an executive with Monsanto Co.

"I look forward to joining a company with the industry legacy that Flowserve has and helping to drive the transformation that is needed to refocus the company to a more people-focused strategy," Burger said.
