James Mock will join PerkinElmer as senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective May 1.
He will replace Andy Wilson, who, in turn, will remain in the company as an adviser until a smooth transition and integration for Mock is ensured.
Mock previously worked at General Electric Co. for almost 20 years, including roles as vice president and on the corporate audit staff.
“I am excited to welcome Jamey to PerkinElmer and look forward to his contributions, as he brings extensive experience overseeing the financial and commercial management of leading global organizations,” Robert Friel, PerkinElmer’s president and CEO, said. “Jamey’s financial leadership capabilities are an ideal complement to our focus on driving PerkinElmer to its next phase of growth and profitability.”
Last year, PerkinElmer reported a total revenue of around $2.3 billion, with approximately 11,000 employees from more than 150 countries.
