Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB, the Stockholm-based international rare disease company, has hired Fredrik Wetterlundh to serve as its head of human resources.
"His experience from the pharmaceutical industry, numerous company integrations and the global roles he has held will be of great value for Sobi, supporting our organisation and our journey to become a global leader in rare diseases," CEO and President Guido Oelkers said.
Wetterlundh previously worked for Pfizer, where he held a number of roles -- including global human resources lead -- since 2009.
"Sobi is a value-driven company with highly experienced employees and a strong culture," Wetterlundh said. "These are valuable assets to build on. I look forward to contributing to Sobi's growth strategy with my experience in implementing effective organisation and people strategies."
In addition to Pfizer, Wetterlundh has also worked for Kraft Foods, Astra Zeneca and Astra Draco.
