Paycom Software, an Oklahoma-based provider of online payroll service and human resource technology, has opened a new sales office in Rochester, New York.

Paycom’s fourth sales team in the state is expected to expand the company’s reach into northern New York.

“We are pleased to continue the expansion of our sales organization with our new Rochester office,” CEO and founder Chad Richison said. “This office further extends our presence in New York and marks our 47th sales team nationwide.”

At the new Rochester office, Paycom’s current sales manager will be responsible for overseeing, hiring and developing new sales talent to accelerate business growth.

“The Rochester area is a dynamic region,” chief sales officer Jeff York said. “Our new office will allow Paycom to better serve organizations in the area with human capital management technology that employers and employees want and need in today’s business environment.”

Founded in 1998, Paycom started as a provider of online payroll service for businesses. The company has grown to offer other services, including human resource management.

In 2017, Paycom held the fourth place on Forbes’ Fast Tech 25 list and the second place on Fortune magazine’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies list in the same year. Additionally, the company was also named by Glassdoor in 2013 as one of the Top Five Best Places to Work in the U.S.
