American Greetings has selected Businessolver to help with its benefits administration technology for the greeting card company's over 20,000 employees worldwide.
Kelley Korte, American Greetings' director of benefits planning, said after having problems with inaccuracies and poor customer service from previous benefits technology programs, the company turned to Businessolver.
“A lot of [American Greetings' employees] are in manufacturing, with only 20-minute breaks,” Korte said. “They can’t be on hold for a long time, or hunting for information, or trying to figure out complicated technology.”
Korte said they chose Businessolver to make user experience and employee service a top priority.
“Our company focuses on making the world a more thoughtful and caring place,” Korte said. “And we felt that through the Businessolver way, in their focus on delight.”
Feedback shows a majority of employees at American Greetings -- which distributes greeting cards to over 125,000 retail outlets in over 70 countries -- are comfortable with online benefits enrolling. Over 40 percent of the associates have said their experience with annual enrollment was better than previous enrollments.
American Greetings also saw a record in its wellness program participation from its associates who have been using Businessolver's Benefitsolver program to keep track of wellness credits and progress.
