Medical software company Modernizing Medicine is expanding its HR department in response to rapid growth and is seeking a benefits manager.
This position consists of responsibility for benefits, plan audits, testing processes, retirement plan fillings, wellness programs, orientation sessions, and leaves of absence. The new hire will also have to maintain a collaborative relationship with the senior director of human resources.
This position would be ideal for individuals who work well independently and under pressure, have good interpersonal and oral and written communication skills, and have “a high level of integrity and professionalism.”
Individuals interested in applying for the position must meet several requirements, including a bachelor’s degree; five to seven years of experience in a benefits department; experience with ERISA, DOL, and IRS in relation to retirement and benefit plans; a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; and other technical and analytical experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a medium-size organization, specifically in “health and wellness plans, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, worker’s compensation, ACA, ADA and leaves of absences”; use the strategic approach; be willing to continuously improve and evaluate current trends; and have “a passion for developing and promoting employee well-being.”
