Eric Cremer, former human resources director of Johns Manville’s (JM) engineered products business, has been appointed chief HR officer at the manufacturing company.
Cremer will oversee all aspects of JM’s global human resources and communications organization in his new position.
“Eric is a seasoned human resources professional and has more than 20 years of HR experience working at a variety of companies,” JM President and CEO Mary Rhinehart said.
Cremer previously worked at Merck & Co., Agilent Technologies and Kraft Foods.
He initially joined JM in 2004 and held various HR roles at the company before transferring to Centennial, Colorado-based food and beverages distributor Vistar, where he was HR vice president.
Cremer returned to JM in 2016 and subsequently served as an HR director for two years.
He has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in labor and industrial relations from the University of Illinois.
