With Pepper Construction Partners projects proliferating in Chicagoland, West Des Moines’ Businessolver recently buckled down to help the business boom by upgrading its management platforms to a paperless system for onboarding, enrollment and more.
Whereas the general contracting and construction management firm excelled at improving the city landscape, its internal benefits administration needed an overhaul to get up to speed with its outstanding projects, Businessolver spokespersons said.
Although “its buildings added strength and sparkle to the city’s skyline and surrounding Midwest locales, Pepper’s benefits administration was using a paper-based infrastructure that paled in comparison to its state-of-the-art construction management platforms,” Businessolver said.
Pepper’s HR department was a “benefits perfect storm” waiting for Julie Kellman, Pepper's benefits, compensation and HR system manage, on her very first day at the job, and Businessolver’s guidance helped Kellman weather what could have been a rocky orientation overseeing packages for nearly 1,000 Pepper employees.
Kellman conveyed appreciation for Businessolver’s ongoing support service for her company’s HR department, touting collaboration and transparency as effective for operations.
“The Businessolver product makes it easy to configure,” Kellman said, adding that the platform values efficacy over intricacy. “Plus, it’s all very clear and clean – no animations, no pop ups.”
