Benchmark Hospitality has kicked off a search for a human resources director in College Station, Texas who will lead the hospitality management company’s people strategy and human resources functions.
Benchmark said in a job advertisement that the director will monitor the alignment of employee engagement and morale with the company’s culture, principles and beliefs. The HR director will ensure that all employees’ voices are heard through the “Open Door Policy,” as well as oversee workers compensation programs and the company’s compliance with federal, state and local labor laws.
Benchmark seeks candidates with five years of HR management experience in a hotel or resort -- preferably in a luxury establishment -- and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
The company prefers individuals who are bilingual and experienced in HR duties such as social benefit and recognition programs, budgeting, forecasting, recruitment, salary, benefit administration and employee relations, among others.
The role requires frequent sitting, occasional standing and walking, fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision and far vision and hearing.
