Businessolver, a leader in SaaS-based benefits administration technology, recently announced that its Businessolver Foundation presented more than $250,000 to charitable organizations nationwide in 2017.
Businessolver colleagues also volunteered approximately 1,000 hours as part of the company's Technology with Heart work culture.
The Businessolver Foundation, which was incorporated in 2016, supports local and national organizations focused on health, education and community development.
The foundation's contributions include relief efforts following Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. Other programs and organizations it has worked with or sponsored include the Adopt-A-Wish program for Make-A-Wish Iowa; Couture for a Cause for Children’s Cancer Connection; the 2017 RAGBRAI (the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa), dedicated to deceased former employee Chris Charron; Courage Classic, a mountain bike race for The Children’s Hospital in Denver; building homes with GuideOne Insurance and the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity; and Junior Achievement of Central Iowa.
It also has an annual scholarship program for high-school seniors who are dependents of full-time Businessolver employees.
