Parsons Corp., a leader in infrastructure, engineering and construction, is seeking a human resources benefits analyst to work in its state-of-the-art Pasadena, California call center, supporting the company’s HR service center team.
The company desires an individual who takes satisfaction in helping colleagues. Once on board, the HR benefits analyst will gain valuable experience and knowledge of the organization and its procedures, as well as its customer base; along with financial and business operations.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field; and experience with group benefit plans. Three or more years of administering group plans and professional benefits certification work is highly preferred.
Familiarity with financial analytics, benefit database functioning and HIPAA and PHI law are required as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and communications.
The successful candidate will apply his or her knowledge of benefits and customer service to improve Parsons’ service quality. In the HR service center, the analyst will help benefits representatives achieve optimum service to employees; provide analysis and reports; answer queries about benefits, and provide overall counsel to HRBPs and advisors with attention to detail.
