ManTech International Corp. is offering an opportunity for a full-time HR assistant to join its Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions Group team, developing groundbreaking projects and protecting domestic security in the Herndon, Virginia region.
Applicants need to have a high school diploma or the equivalent; plus four to five years of experience in the field. The position requires problem solving and prioritization, interpersonal and analytical skills, accuracy, reliability, attention to detail and strong communication capabilities.
Duties are varied, ranging from customer service, addressing employee queries and administrative support to document management and computer system maintenance. Familiarity with WorkDay and PeopleSoft is preferred. Payroll and benefit tasks are included along with employee issue resolution.
The assistant will process job ads, create calendars, compile reports, oversee hiring functions and maintain files and databases. He or she will communicate on a daily basis with employees and management, handling group presentations and meetings; and demonstrate the ability to process and interpret numerical data as well as general information for analysis and presentation.
The successful candidate will also have the capability of performing responsively with receptivity to feedback from management; and will be able to follow through on projects and planning in an organized manner.
