Credit union BECU is looking to hire a full-time senior benefits manager.
Duties of the position include managing benefits and wellness programs, overseeing the development of internal marketing and communications for benefit programs, facilitating annual benefits pricing and design efforts, directing strategic benefit program development and administration, recommending revised or new benefits offerings, developing and coordinating external benefits market survey strategy, managing vendor contracts and services, and advising on benefits matters.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in business or HR or equivalent work or educational experience; at least seven years benefits administration experience; three years experience in a leadership or management role; strong communication, analytical, conceptual, negotiation, planning, problem-solving, reporting and leadership skills; and knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures, and local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.
Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, experience leading project teams, previous experience with Workday and PHR/SPHR/CBP certification.
