SCL Health, providing coordinated care via hospitals, clinics, hospice and more, seeks a full-time HR Assistant II for its Brighton, Colorado-based Platte Valley Medical Center to aid with benefits administration and other HR duties.
The assistant will support the department in processing flexible spending accounts, leaves of absence, tuition and unemployment benefits. He or she will also handle data entry, employment verification and identification, office duties and event planning.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred along with at least two years of HR experience in a health care environment.
The position requires familiarity with FMLA, tuition reimbursement procedures and flexible spending account standards. Applicants should have good communications and interpersonal skills as well as computer expertise.
The successful candidate will be able to multitask and prioritize assignments; handle workflow with accuracy and thoroughness, and demonstrate professionalism, including the ability to preserve confidentiality.
Located approximately 20 miles northeast of Denver at 1600 Prairie Center Parkway in Brighton, Platte Valley Medical Center serves the northern central Colorado area with on-demand and emergency care as well as providing clinical specialist resources.
