The Neeyamo Co. offers clients a new way to use SAP SuccessFactors, one of the most popular comprehensive human resources software packages from a household name in IT.

Just this past month, Neeyamo, which is a value-added reseller for SAP, launched a package called "Unbox HR."

The package comes in the form of four categories that work together to provide a wide spectrum of results for client businesses. In an interview with HRDailyWire on Jan. 19, Neeyamo chief client partners Vivek Khanna explained how the product works.

"We're talking about aligning your talent to your goal," Khanna said, describing some of the general purpose categories that SAP SuccessFactors helps users with and how Neeyamo's package enhances the adoption process. The business transformation component, he said, ties the other three resources together for easy implementation.

When it comes to using SuccessFactors through Unbox HR, Khanna said, companies get help with a broad set of goals -- from entering payroll to handling vacation time -- and everything in between.

Khanna said the products help to handle the entire 'hire-to-retire' cycle of employment, from on-boarding to the eventual departure of employee from a business. Price, he said, is also a factor.

"There is a competitive price difference," he said.

Khanna described how a company with 50 to 100 employees might outgrow the traditional practice of using spreadsheets for record-keeping.

"If you can no longer maintain the records system using Excel," Khanna said, "you need a more structured system."

Khanna said the products can help eliminate difficult e-mail trails and make human resources more efficient, with custom dashboard systems that streamline the process of business communications. In offering this implementation for SAP SuccessFactors, Khanna said the company was considering the challenges for growing companies that want to feel confident about SuccessFactors integration.

"It's brought the cost of implementation down," Khanna said of Unbox HR.
