Darling Ingredients Inc. has appointed company veterans Brad Phillips and John Muse to its executive vice president/chief financial officer and executive vice president/chief administrative officer posts.
Phillips, who joined Darling in 1988, will serve as executive vice president/chief financial officer and Muse, who joined the company in 1997, will serve as executive vice president/chief administrative officer, according to the company.
"We are pleased to have Brad lead our financial team at Darling," Darling Ingredients chairman and CEO Randall Stuewe said in a press release. "His 28 years of experience are invaluable, and he knows our business well. Additionally, we are glad that John Muse decided to forgo his previously planned retirement. In his new role, John will focus on helping us further integrate and streamline our global administrative organization."
Phillips recently served as Darling's vice president/treasurer and also served as treasurer, assistant treasurer and assistant controller with the company. He also served as Republic Health Corp.'s corporate accounting manager and also worked in the audit group at Arthur Andersen.
Muse previously served as chief financial officer for Darling and also served as the company's chief synergy officer, executive vice president/chief administrative officer, executive vice president/finance and administration and also as vice president and chief financial officer.
Prior to joining Darling, Muse served as vice president and general manager for Consolidated Nutrition.
