Interlink Electronics Inc. — a California-based Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions consultant and technology provider — recently welcomed David Burnett to its team for the second time, now as chief finance officer to oversee financial and administrative tasks.
With a focus on performance, Burnett will apply his executive skills gleaned over 27 years of in-depth financial experience. He previously served as CFO of Interlink from August 2016 through April 2017, as well as offering continuous consulting services since.
“[Burnett’s] strong leadership skills, combined with a solid financial pedigree bring a strategic view to a critical function; one that allows us to work as a focused team and drive innovative solutions to the marketplace,” Interlink CEO Steven Bronson said.
Prior to returning to Interlink, Burnett worked at Palmetto Clean Technology and before his initial stint with Interlink, he served at EnPro Industries. Previously, he served at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grant Thornton.
“I am thrilled to be coming home to Interlink Electronics,” Burnett said. “I am confident that we will link the company’s goals to sound financial performance, risk management and operational effectiveness.”
Burnett, a CPA and certified treasury professional, earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Old Dominion University. His masters in taxation is from Golden Gate University.
Besides being named Interlink’s CFO, Burnett was also appointed CFO of BKF Capital Group, a partial owner of Interlink; he will balance both organizations on his schedule.
