BJ's Wholesale Club requires a dedicated HR manager in Hollywood, Florida to oversee programs, policy and procedure in a supportive and collaborative work environment.
The HR manager is responsible for applicant outreach, interview and onboarding procedures and training; HR department supervision, scheduling, personnel matters, benefits and payroll.
A college degree is preferred, as well as experience in interviewing, hiring, payroll and/or counseling. Additionally, applicants should have between one and three years of supervisory background in payroll, clerical or personnel areas.
The successful candidate will oversee test administration for new hires as well as reference checks; maintain budget guidelines related to hourly employee scheduling; and direct all paperwork for hourly staff regarding pay increases, promotions, workers compensation, unemployment, and termination procedures. Benefit administration will include orientation and annual open enrollments.
