PPL Corp.'s assistant treasurer Tadd Henninger has been named vice president and treasurer and Joseph Bergstein Jr. has been named vice president of investor relations and corporate development and planning.
Henninger, who has been with the company for nine years, oversees financial activity. He has handled utility acquisitions for PPL both domestically and abroad. Previously, he served as a manager at Ernst & Young.

"We are pleased to promote Tadd, who under Joe's leadership has maintained PPL access to the capital it needs to grow and invest in new energy infrastructure," Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Vincent Sorgi said. "Our confidence in Tadd allows us to shift Joe's focus, enabling him to oversee strategic business development for PPL in addition to his current roles overseeing PPL's investor relations and business planning activities."
Sorgi will serve as first point of contact for both Henninger and Bergstein in their new capacities.
From its hub in Allentown, Pennsylvania, PPL Corp. operates as one of the nation’s largest utility industry entities, serving 10 million customers in the U.S. and the United Kingdom.
