Pulp and paper product manufacturer Clearwater Paper is looking to hire a human resources director in Spokane, Washington.

Duties of the position include leading the execution of talent management programs, creating strategies to develop diverse talent pipelines, coordinating benefit and compensation systems, providing guidance on employee/labor relations matters, and assisting with the implementation of HR programs and policies.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, labor relations or related field; at least 12 years experience in a manufacturing environment leading multi-site businesses; at least seven years leading and developing HR teams and organizations; business acquisition/divestiture experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; strong communication, presentation, leadership, and change management skills; and knowledge of critical financial business metrics.

Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and SHRM-CP/SCP certification.
