Minneapolis-based global HCM firm Ceridian recently congratulated its client Power Construction of Chicago for capturing a 2017 Digital Leadership Award in the human capital management category, presented by Ventana Research of Bend, Oregon.
“Congratulations to Power Construction on their human capital management accomplishments and this award win,” Ceridian Chairman and CEO David Ossip said. “Dayforce HCM’s single, cloud-based application has enabled Power Construction to stay at the forefront of technology, while continuing to engage their people and grow their business. We look forward to further collaborations with Power Construction and all of our customers.”
The award acknowledges groups that successfully use technology to progress both their individual businesses and IT — finding innovative solutions and upgrades to streamline their path and future potential.
Power attracted Ventana’s attention for its HCM leadership as well as their implementation of Ceridian’s Dayforce HCM software. Using the platform allowed the firm to simplify its HR sector and provide staffers with mobile access to their own compensation data.
“It is an honor to be recognized for our company’s human capital management achievements,” Shahara Byford, HR director at Power Construction, said. “Dayforce HCM has provided us with the foundation to continue growing and building upon our success. All of the people information is now in one, consistent database and there is better transparency to workflows and processes.”
