Northern California-based nonprofit health system Sutter Health needs a full-time benefits specialist.
Duties of the position include administering benefit programs, maintaining the HRIS database, resolving insurance claims, performing audits, and serving as a contact for providers and physician services business partners.
Prospective candidates must possess an associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience and at least three years of HR work experience.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, two years experience in employee benefits administration, experience in a healthcare organization and with HRIS systems, proficiency in Excel and Word programs, and knowledge of leave laws.
