Duties of the full-time position include reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, conducting pre-employment screenings, ensuring training expectations are being met, conducting new hire orientation classes, managing payroll processes, promoting positive employee interactions, processing corrective actions, assisting in local recognition activities, and participating in HR initiatives.
Prospective candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; at least three consecutive years of experience in an office/administrative environment; the ability to work with various computer programs; strong communication, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills; the ability to work under minimal supervision; the ability to handle confidential information; and knowledge of HR concepts, practices and procedures.
Preferred qualifications include some college level courses, previous HR experience, experience in a fast-paced environment with a large employee base, and HR certification.
