Duties of the position include posting open jobs, completing employment verifications, administering HR processes, monitoring training, maintaining personnel files, assisting with HR initiatives, delivering staff communication, maintaining the HR budget, assisting with job fairs, organizing meetings, and maintaining department supplies.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree; two years of HR experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and decision-making skills; the ability to work independently and collaboratively; the ability to handle confidential information; and knowledge of ad hoc reporting, the Illinois School Code, and state and federal labor laws.
Preferred qualifications include HR certification.
