JCC Chicago, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a vibrant Jewish community, needs a full-time human resources coordinator.
Duties of the position include processing background checks, processing new hire paperwork, assisting with new hire orientation, maintaining personnel files, assisting with annual benefit open enrollment, preparing responses to unemployment claims, and performing special HR projects.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree; at least three years of HR experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; strong communication, interpersonal, time management, multi-tasking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; the ability to handle confidential information; the ability to work independently and as a team member; and knowledge of state and federal labor laws.
Preferred qualifications include experience using UltiPro or similar systems.
