Flooring solutions provider Tarkett is looking for a human resources generalist to work at its Florence, Alabama manufacturing facility.
Duties of the full-time position include participating in full-cycle recruitment efforts, managing new hire orientation, assisting with talent management initiatives, driving employee engagement efforts, executing HR strategies, conducting exit interviews, managing employee relations, running HRIS reports, and ensuring compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in business, HR or psychology plus at least five years of HR experience, including at least three years in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills; the ability to handle confidential information; and knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations, as well as knowledge of practices and principles of HR administration.
Preferred qualifications include PHR certification.
