Honolulu-based financial institution First Hawaiian Bank seeks a benefits specialist.
The person in this position will be tasked with administering employee health and wellness benefits and programs, and ensuring these programs comply with regulations.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience; three years benefit administration experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRMS systems; strong communication, interpersonal, business presentation, analytical, organizational, time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills; the ability to handle confidential information; and knowledge of benefits administration, as well as knowledge of HR state and federal laws and regulations.
Preferred qualifications include a degree in business administration, HR management or statistics, and PHR/SPHR and/or CCP and CBP designations.
