Tennessee-based medical group Dickson Medical Associates seeks a human resources generalist.
Duties of the position include recruiting and interviewing applicants, selecting applicants, conducting new employee orientations, analyzing training needs, performing benefits administration, maintaining the employee directory, updating the payroll system, administering HR plans and procedures, and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal benefit and employment laws and regulations.
Prospective candidates must possess at least five years of HR experience; strong communication, organizational, time management, multi-tasking and decision-making skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of HR practices, principles, laws, and regulations; the ability to work independently and collaboratively; and the ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in HR or business administration, HR experience in a physician group environment, and SPHR/PHR certification.
