Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania needs a full-time human resources generalist.
Duties of the position include enhancing current compensation programs, coordinating workforce and talent management efforts, assisting with compensation surveys, analyzing compensation data, assisting with pay practices, developing policies that support performance management, administering leave programs, analyzing employee relations situations, updating HR policies, and conducting training on general HR topics.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree; at least four years of HR generalist experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS and compensation management systems; strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, analytical, critical thinking and multi-tasking skills; knowledge of state and federal employment and labor laws; and the ability to work independently and as a team member.
Preferred qualifications include experience in higher education or a service-orientated organization, and HR certification.
