Technician training provider Universal Technical Institute seeks a benefits administrator to work at its Scottsdale, Arizona corporate facility.
Duties of the full-time position include assisting with annual open enrollment, conducting benefit presentations, administering benefit programs, tracking eligibility for benefit offerings based on position status changes, administering leave of absences, maintaining benefit plan documents, processing monthly billings for benefit invoices, resolving employee benefit issues, and coordinating wellness activities.
Prospective candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED; four years of progressive benefits experience; strong communication, computer, research, project management, decision making, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills; the ability to handle confidential information; and strong knowledge of benefit laws, principles and regulations.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related major, and PHR, SPHR or CEBS certification.
