Combining the best of both companies’ capabilities, Degreed and HR.com have collaborated on their Degreed Skill Certification program as a way to improve online learning and efficiently convey continuing education credits for human resources professionals.
HR.com is a social network and HR development website, while Degreed describes itself as “the world’s first career-long, skills-building platform.” Together, they intend to empower HR professionals with faster, simpler and easier ways to maintain career development; organize and track what they learn; and share their knowledge.
“At HR.com, we are continuously striving to help HR professionals stay educated and updated so they can manage informed, compliant, and successful workforces,” Debbie McGrath, HR.com CEO and chief instigator, said. “Through the partnership with Degreed, HR professionals working to upgrade their careers or achieve accreditation can now better achieve their goals in the HR space by applying this adaptive learning process to personalize and curate extensive HR content.”
HR.com and Degreed will combine HR.com’s existing online certification and accreditation tools with Degreed’s organizational powerhouse to drive their new platform, which offers the ability to measure levels of expertise in over 1,500 separate skill sets as well as display content more legibly.
“We are thrilled to reach more than a million HR professionals and show them the power of Degreed’s learning platform, which allows for any form of learning to be discovered, tracked, shared, recognized, and used to develop career-relevant skills,” Degreed CEO David Blake said. “This partnership with HR.com advances Degreed’s mission of creating a more skilled workforce of life-long learners.”
